Description

The DAT 512 is a Dual loop-powered isolator. It is design to isolate a 4-20mA signal while still being loop powered. The DAT512 can isolate any signal from 0-20 mA and does not need calibrating. The input current is converted to an equal output current but providing galvanic isolation from the input circuit. The isolator is a passive isolator: this means that the device employs the input measurement signal to power itself, so it does not require any external power supply. The DAT 512 is in compliance with the standard 89/336/EEC on the Electromagnetic Compatibility. It is housed in a plastic enclosure of 22.5 mm thickness suitable for DIN rail mounting in compliance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
